Royal International Education Center provides a unique teaching model and curriculum content, in line with the different learning objectives, to customize the most suitable courses for every student, to help them in a short period of time to have efficient progress

The content and level of our courses will focus on text content in different contexts, understanding Chinese culture, language training, strengthening the practice of words and sentences, and focusing on observation, reading and speaking skills. They will also practice reading comprehension, reading and writing, and life writing.

Chinese Comprehensive Course

Level 1-2


Chinese Comprehensive Course
According to the IB theme teaching, including basic knowledge, theme picture books, beautiful text reading, picture writing, stage assessment, etc., it comprehensively improves the level of learning, listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and improves the knowledge and application ability of the Chinese language.

Picture book reading and literacy
Through interesting picture books, students can exercise their listening and speaking skills. Based on picture book extensions, they can help learners to literate and express naturally. Combining “star-level words” allows students to grasp common words.

Look at pictures and write words and expressions
Royal students’ observation and analysis skills through childlike pictures, and stimulate students’ imagination, logical thinking skills, and language organization skills through teacher’s questions and guidance to complete writing.

Basic knowledge
Consolidate spelling and master spelling, reading and writing skills; Accumulate vocabulary and improve the ability to group words and make sentences; Categorize words and expand vocabulary.

Level 3-4


Chinese Comprehensive Course
At the Intermediate level, students have a certain level of mastery of the Chinese language, and this level focuses on improving their language skills in a hierarchical manner. Writing is a major challenge for students, so this Chinese course uses a step-by-step approach to guide students to write well. Each learning point is taught in a step-by-step manner: First, students are asked questions to stimulate their thinking; Secondly simple exercises are provided for initial mastery; Finally a summary is given to consolidate their knowledge; and , further exercises are provided to comprehensively improve the level of learning, listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and improve the Chinese cognition and application ability of learning.

Descriptive Writing
The course is designed to train children’s essay writing skills by using a veriety of topics in life and by appreciating the literary classics of ancient and modern masters. Also, they will improve their ability to write in a vivid and imaginative way through observation.

Reading and Literacy
Accumulate vocabulary and improve the ability to group words and make sentences; Master the structure of sentences, and be proficient in converting sentences and arranging words into sentences; Understand the meaning of sentences and master the method of arranging sentences into paragraphs.

Level 5-6


Chinese Comprehensive Course
Students who have advanced from intermediate to advanced composition classes must have a basic understanding of the level of composition. In the advanced class, students will practice their writing skills, and through different exercises and writing features, they will be able to highlight their superb writing abilities. During the course, students will be taught a variety of writing styles and techniques to earn high scores.

Descriptive Writing
The essay is well organized, with emphasis on the hammering of opening and closing techniques. Students will learn to divide the essay into clear natural paragraphs and distinguish between details and sketches; they will hear, see, and feel the essay and highlight the center of the essay through meaningful sentences or openings and endings.

Reading and Literacy
We combine reading training to improve children’s ability to examine topics, to help students re-examine material and analyze the reasoning behind it, to organize content in sections, and to ensure that the expression of the essay is appropriately transformed. The teacher will encourage systematic thinking about writing, analyze the genre of frequently tested essays, and teach higher-level writing skills.

Reading is a powerful tool for self-actualization. Our reading programs is building on the best of existing state standards, the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) provide clear and consistent learning goals to help prepare student for college, career, and life. Student can read the books based on their suitable reading level. There are various book types in our reading room. Students can read the book based on their interest and build up their reading and comprehension skills. Please contact us for more detail.

These standards are directed toward fostering students’ understanding and working knowledge of concepts of print, the alphabetic principle, and the other basic conventions of the English writing system. Comprehensive Writing

Students who have mastered their early writing basics will move to different developmental levels from beginning-level writers through fluent-level writers, and teach students important writing skills.  We will brain storm with students in each topic and explain to students that when they generate questions about the events and his/her importance.

Literacy Curriculum

Under Royal Education’s literacy curriculum, children become critical readers and acquire an authorial style as they encounter a wide-range of significant authors and a variety of fiction, non-fiction and poetry. As a component of a comprehensive balanced literacy approach, literature circles provide research-based instruction for new vocabulary and skill development. Our structured process of literature circle results in students taking ownership of the text and improving their reading comprehension. Overtime, students become more skillful at performing specific roles during discussion or meetings

According to different character of students, we will explore difference learning packs in their English lesson.
